What is Triax Dental?
Triax Dental is a general dental practice delivering comprehensive oral health care in Nashville, Tennessee.
Happy, healthy smiles for everyone! We specialize in providing quality, compassionate and customized dental care to all our patients, including those with dental anxiety, dental phobia and other special needs.
Our trained and experienced staff are committed to providing clinical excellence, and working closely with patients to provide long-term solutions for optimal oral health.
What usually happens at your first appointment?
Generally, for new patients that are not experiencing a dental emergency and are not in pain the first appointment is scheduled with a dental hygienist. The hygienist will take x-rays and clean your teeth. The dentist will review your x-rays and after your teeth are clean the dentist will complete a comprehensive exam which will include a gentle but thorough examination of the mouth, the teeth, gums, existing dental work like fillings, crowns, etc. and soft tissues such as the tongue, lips and cheeks.
FREE desensitization appointments
If you’d like to come and look around the practice and meet our staff before booking an appointment, we offer free desensitization appointments where you can familiarize yourself with the clinic. These are particularly useful for patients who struggle with dental phobia or anxiety.
